Green is the tour I would consider when the nearby Göreme sights are already covered and I want a very different day. Many itineraries head to Derinkuyu or Kaymaklı, then add southern viewpoints or Ihlara Valley. Without a car, that combination is awkward to piece together independently.

The underground-city visit
For me, the underground city is the main reason to choose Green. First find out which one the tour visits: Derinkuyu, Kaymaklı or somewhere else. These are real underground passages, with low ceilings, narrow sections and steps. If confined spaces are uncomfortable for anyone in your group, sort that out before booking, not at the entrance.

Ihlara Valley: confirm the walk
Ihlara brings a change of scene: a river, trees and steep canyon walls instead of another fairy-chimney panorama. But “includes Ihlara” can mean a walk along the valley floor or a quick view from above. I would want the start point, end point and walking time in writing. Your legs would probably like to know about the stairs too.
Road time, inclusions and booking checks
Green is usually a full day once hotel pickups and the southbound drive are counted. I would leave the evening loose rather than reserve a tightly timed dinner. Wear shoes that cope with uneven paths and take water for the season.
