If it is your first day in the region, I can see the appeal of Red: someone else handles the route while you get your bearings around Göreme, Uçhisar and the northern valleys. You still need to read the itinerary. “Red Tour” is a label, not a ticket to every famous stop.

What a Red Tour day actually feels like
Expect a minibus day with several short walks, steps and uneven stone underfoot. The stops sit closer together than on most Green routes, which is pleasant. Still, six stops on a listing do not mean six satisfying visits. I would look for decent time at the main historic site rather than a heroic number of photo stops.
Göreme Open-Air Museum contains rock-cut churches and chapels; the official museum page has current visitor details. A “Göreme panorama” stop sounds close on paper, but it is a view, not a visit inside the museum.
Tickets, lunch, shopping stops and total cost
I would price the whole day, not just the number in the search result. Museum entry, lunch and drinks can change the total. A pottery demonstration in Avanos might be fun; an extended sales stop when you wanted more time at the fairy chimneys is a different proposition. - Check whether pickup serves your hotel town and whether drop-off is included.

Is the Red Tour right for you?
I would choose Red for a guided introduction to central Cappadocia, especially without a car. I would skip it if the named stops largely repeat my own plans. If the underground city or Ihlara is what excites you, look at the Green Tour route instead.
